Allistor: "No worries, Dave. Remember, you don't have to keep secrets from us."

"As for the rest of you, let's try not to make another diversion like that, alright? Have you ever considered what you'd do if six-some teenagers cornered you in an alleyway as you walked by? Imagine what might have happened if he'd felt threatened... Strangers aren't our friends."

Follow Arachne, whenever she chooses to leave for the shops.

David: "Oh, I guess you're right."

Follow the rest of the group out of the alleyway, still pondering what Rova said about "getting out of here before the next one drops", how he frowned when he saw the flickering lights, and whether or not we're all actually teenagers.

Urabask : "The more time we spend here, the more time we're wasting. I'm sure they'll be alright, and besides, I'm sure we'll see them at the shop anyways. We should just go now."

Walk clumsily in the direction of the shops.

"Nothing can stop me this time."

Re: Triad (Game Topic)

Spoiler:
Okay I don't really have a good reason for not updating. Just sorta didn't feel like it I guess? Anyway here are some things.

Despite the narrator not even checking whether or not everyone gave the command to do so, everyone went around like two corners (seriously, you guys were pretty close before you got distracted by some dude) and finds the quaint little family-run shops. Only 4 are open at the moment. Perhaps this has to do with the distractions along the way, or perhaps because the humble narrator doesn't have images and item lists prepared for more than four. You will never know.

Instead of forcing each of you to check each shop individually in a long series of updates, the generous narrator lets you just have at the massive wall of text.

The "m" is currency. Until retconned, it literally stands for "money".

Spoiler:
As a team you all together have 9500 m. You guys can deal with money as if it is pooled together, or you can each use your individual amounts which are as follows:
- 600 m
- 600 m
- 800 m
- 1600 m
- 1300 m
- 600 m
- 700 m
- 600 m
- 600 m
- 2100 m

There definitely are reasons why I gave some people more than others. Hit me up in the Off Topic thread if you're really that curious.

CURIOSITY SHOP

This shop is kept by Carl Kaufmann, obviously the youngest and most beautiful of the Kaufmann family. He peddles potions and crystals.

Spoiler:
Crimson Brew (250 m)
-A vial containing a swirling red liquid. Should you take a swig, passion will bubble forth from you (3 uses).

Viridian Brew (60 m)
-A vial containing a pulsing green liquid. Drinking it slightly heals your wounds (3 uses).

Emerald Brew (100 m)
-A vial containing a shining green liquid. Drinking it heals some of your wounds and makes you feel refreshed (3 uses).

MakiMaki Juice (200 m)
-A thick light-purple juice from the MakiMaki fruit that imbues the drinker with Sigmatic power (3 uses).

Fractaline Crystal α (30 m)
-This crystal acts as a large α node, directing Sigmatic power or Flux techniques into the direction the crystal points.

Fractaline Crystal β (150 m)
-This crystal acts as a large β node, storing Sigmatic power to be brought out for later use.

Fractaline Crystal γ (300 m)
-This crystal acts as a large γ node, taking in and compressing Sigmatic Power or Flux techniques into a concentrated beam.

WEAPON SHOP

This shop is kept by Wilhelm Kaufmann, obviously the burliest and most intimidating of the Kaufmann family. He peddles sharp pointy things as well as a few guns.

Spoiler:
Wooden Training Sword (50 m)
-Who would buy this piece of shit? Really the only use this thing has is getting enchanted at the Submatrix shop.

Copper Short Sword (150 m)
-It's metal, it's decently compact, it's sharp. Holy shit, it's a sword.

Copper Long Sword (320 m)
-It's metal, it's longer, it's sharp, it's less affordable. Holy shit, it's a sword. Who would have guessed?

Iron Short Sword (400 m)
-It's a different kind of metal, it's decently compact, it's sharp. Fuck man, you know the drill.

Iron Long Sword (850 m)
-Holy balls this thing is pretty expensive. There's gotta be some sort of superior craftsmanship behind this sword to merit the price. Layers of metal or some shit. But yeah, it's sharp. It's swordy.

Twin Iron Daggers (200 m)
-Gotta be quick and get up close to use these things. They're a pretty good value though.

Sigma Shot (900 m)
-You're pretty sure this is the priciest thing in this whole set of shops, but that's understandable, it's a pretty badass piece of tech. The military used to use these things, but now they use a slightly upgraded version.

TECH SHOP

This shop is kept by Terry Kaufmann, obviously the shortest and oldest of the Kaufmann family. He peddles the basic components necessary to any aficionado of Sigmatic technology.

Spoiler:
Alpha Line (3 meters) (40 m)
-The conduit of power in modern Sigmatic technology. Man, what if electrons traveled through these wires instead of Sigma. Wouldn't that be crazy?

Beta Charge (quantity (60 m)
-They don't have the naturally huge capacity that the Fractaline Crystals in the curiosity shop have, but they're mass-manufactured, cheap, and ready to be connected up to whatever crazy device you've got going.

Gamma Compressor (quantity 4) (90 m)
-Since Sigma sent through the Alpha Lines doesn't come back to the battery (Wouldn't that be crazy if it worked like that?), Gamma Compressors are necessary to bring ambient Sigmatic energy back through the line so it can be stored back in the Charge.

Ambient Charge (quantity 1) (200 m)
-Like a Beta Charge and Gamma Compressor built into one, this device gathers ambient energy into the battery. Often used in devices that are used in close proximity to powerful Sigmatic beings. They're the power source of the Sigma Shot in the Weapon Shop.

SUBMATRIX SHOP

This shop is kept by Sal Kaufmann, obviously the tallest and strangest of the Kaufmann family. He peddles his innate ability to apply submatrices to objects, often his father Wilhelm's weapons.

Spoiler:
A weapon with a submatrix applied to it gains an ability that the wielder can use either when the weapon is used or with SP. The limit refers to what type of weapon this submatrix must be applied to. If the wielder shares an affinity with the submatrix, the technique will cost far less SP.

(Name, limit, affinity, cost)

Umbra (no limit) (Void) (200 m)
-This submatrix grants an object the ability to produce delicious vision-obscuring shadows at long and short range regardless of ambient lighting.

Conceal (must be small) (Void) (200 m)
-The reality-bending power of the Void conceals your attack from the enemy.

Flux (no limit) (Flux) (250 m)
-A weapon this submatrix is applied to does considerable additional Flux damage and creates a pretty light show when you swing it. Beautiful.

Flare (must be metal in material) (Flux / Force) (150 m)
-Applied weapon does additional fire damage.

Wave (must be organic in material) (Force / Meta) (100 m)
-A rather simple enchantment that gives the ability to have basic control of water at short to medium range.

Massive (must be something that fires projectiles) (Meta) (100 m)
-Projectiles gain mass and deal physical damage even if they never had any mass to begin with.

Obviously, it's not that feasible to buy everything. You notice that the weapons are fairly expensive relative to how much money you all brought, and you probably won't need to use them any time soon. The submatrices are pretty cool though.

So, you wanna buy some shit? The Kaufmanns are waiting.

Thats right, limp away!

Hanzo: Buy the copper short sword, and 2 viridian brews. Apply the conceal power to the copper short sword. Also if possible buy the wooden training sword to duel wield with the copper short sword if not just keep it anyway, I should have 80 m left.
