Re: Triad (Game Topic)
Arachne leads everyone to the courtyard with all the shops and immediately starts having some sort of really excited seizure talking about how awesome everything is.
"See guys, I told you these shops were awesome! So what kind of stuff do you want to get? You all have money, right? I like the tech shop the best."
A few people mumble some words in agreement and quickly get to work inspecting everything the Kaufmann family has to offer.
As the stunning narrator, I will take this chance to portray the courtyard in graphical detail considering I hadn't the chance to do so in the previous update.

This place is a pretty nice corner of the city, despite the fairly bland and generic fronts to each of the shops you all are currently visiting. A fountain bubbles away in the center of the courtyard, seemingly putting on a show for the 10 crazy, multicolored, stranger-confronting teens that pace around it. There's a small, natural patch of grass in which grow Sigmatic Flowers. They're like regular flowers except... No, wait... They pretty much are regular flowers. I guess putting "Sigmatic" before every noun doesn't actually make it special.
Inside the weapon shop, Thomas asks Wilhelm Kaufmann what exactly a "Sigma Shot" is. The burly Wilhelm flexes his biceps, excited that Thomas would take an interest in such a weapon, but a bit confused that he does not recognize its iconic status.

He inches closer and speaks softly. "Ah... Yes, the Sigma Shot. You see the canister near the back? That's the power source, an Ambient Charge if I could just advertise Terry's shop. It takes in the power that is naturally surrounding the user, which will most assuredly be a pretty high level Sigmatic being as humans often are. It fires a short to mid range burst of Flux and Force energy. I suppose a quick modification could concentrate the energy... I've actually never seen what an enchantment from Sal's shop could do to one of these things. Food for thought..."
He keeps on like that for at least a solid five minutes. Jeez this family is weird.
Everyone keeps wandering around, getting a pretty good idea of what they want to buy on this outing. Word circulates from the shopkeeps that final payments should be directed toward the older and wiser Terry Kaufmann in the Tech Shop. He's the one who handles all the finances. It also seems as if each member of the Kaufmann family has knocked down a section of wall to an adjacent shop, allowing patrons to easily walk between each of their shops. Interesting design choice...

Eventually everyone gathers in the Tech shop, including the rest of the Kaufmann family. They seem to enjoy chatting with the group. Although it's kind of strange to see them all together in the same room.
A few people have already decided what they want and made the appropriate purchases. The rest remain indecisive.
The pleasant chatting is interrupted by another flicker of the lights. This time they seem to stay off for at least 20 seconds before coming back on. It's getting a bit dark, so the unreliable power is even more inconvenient.
Carl Kaufmann: "Tsk, tsk, tsk. I find it utterly dreary in this city with all these power outages. Just dreadful... And for weeks too!"
Carl strokes his beautiful beard and adjusts his fabulous and youthful hat.
What happens now?

- Spoiler:
- Those of you who haven't made purchases yet should do so if you actually want to. This update is really just filler (and I guess also supposed to inspire some discussion). But anyway, I'd like to get the show on the road.

Arachne: "The outages do seem to be getting more and more frequent. Even I've noticed them back at my lab! Do you guys know anything about them?

Claude: You know you guys are a bunch o' thieves. I know a guy who's sellin' sigma shots for 500 money. Military grade my ass, I used to make them with PBC pipe and potatoes when I was a littlin' and they did twice the damage.
I'll be back for that sigma shot. For now give me that Iron Short Sword, as well as an Umbra Submatrix. Have your tech geeks set it up for me.
And whats all this about power outages. I smell a quest.

David: Quit staring blankly into space and jot down a shopping list for Terry.
Give the shopping list to Terry, I'm too shy to haggle about it, obviously.
He's the left one, right? Or the right one? Second to left? No, right? Right? It's right, left? I mean right?
- Spoiler:
- Shopping List:
-Twin Iron Daggers
-2 enchantments for daggers
-Umbra
-Conceal

Mr. Bronson attempts to think up the next update by himself. However all of his ideas involve unnecessarily punching things.
