alot of English spelling is different to american

i personally cant remeber any of the words but i know they are there

^ this is how we say that statement in America

Only word differences I know of are the additional "u" in many words:

Examples:

color - colour

favorite - favourite

"Pedophile" - "Paedophile"
"Airplane" - "Aeroplane"
"Realize" - "Realise"

I think you guys also say "Math", whereas we say "Maths".

Other various words with "z", rather than "s".

Because it does sound the same. It is just like "their" and "there".
