Middle Village, NY.

Middle Village was fucked. Zeds ran the streets, stopping at nothing and killing everything. Some people drove away, but the streets were so packed they were canned food to the infected. Some, like me, bunkered in our houses waiting for the military. Problem is, we were so damn pampered living here that we just weren't prepared. Only a select few owned firearms, and our neighborhood was safe enough that the windows weren't barred. Our wooden doors didnt stand a chance to groups of infected...

Vito - Status: Thats me. Im in "Think before you get killed" mode.
Patty - Status: My mom, freaking out.
Vito Sr - Status: My dad, calm, dont know whats on his mind.
Victoria - Status: My sister, freaking out.
Kim - Status: Neighbor, freaking out.
Bob - Status: Neighbor, Kims husband. Hes an ex cop and the only one is possession of a fire arm, a 9mm glock.

April 15th, 2009. 34 days after the hell broke loose.
We are running low on food. So far we have been living off of the combined canned food of my family, and the family next to us. Today me and Bob are going to make a food run. My mom has been flipping out about it, but shes accepted it now. We have a few options on where we can go for the food, but our best bet is going to dry harbor road, its about 5-6 blocks away with no backalleys we can take. This is okay tho, because st. johns cemetary follows along the road there. The gates of st. johns cemetary, just like all cemetarys in ny are about 8ft tall, spiked, and topped off with barbwire. We are going to go out at dark with wire cutters, and cut enough barbwire to get in. Bob has his handgun, i have nothing but the largest non-serated kitchen knife in my house. Lets face it, if dont run fast enough im zombie food.Anyway, Bob and me are going to climb over and follow the cemetary all the way to dry harbor. When we get there im going to run to "Matsons" deli and fill my backpack with enough canned food and supplies i can. Im supposed to look for soups with meat, a can opener (ours is breaking) and dish washing detergent. Bob is going to run to "Curves" which is across the street from "Matsons" and go to the basement. Under "Curves" is a gun club, there may be a chance that there are firearms we can use, or possible survivors. When one of us is done, we run back and climb over the gate, hopefully without getting eaten...

(Trying to make this story has realistic as possible, all locations are correct, i was trying to get images from google earth to show you the plan exactly but fucking vista firewall doesnt let me do anything.)

I might make one myself... All I can say right now is that I live ina town with population of less than 5 000 so an outbreak would be so easy for me.

nah, i just put my little thing is this to show ppl what goes here. Im probly not continuing this journal, because its where i live and has real characters like family and friends and its kinda wierd writing what happens to them. Ill start fictional ones tho.

That wouldn't be too weird. It'd be weird of the zombie apocolypse happened and they died how you predicted they would. Awkward.
