Zombie Killer of the Year - 2011

Well, you all have been waiting for it.

For those unaware, ZKOTY is UX's highest award, and given only once a year. Much consideration and many factors go into the decision, and sometimes it may be a tough call, but only one shall prevail.

On behalf of UX Staff Team, we would like to congratulate FoundDa Kiwi as UX's ZKOTY for 2011.

Kiwi has stood out in many ways in UX, but one thing he did really well is zombie killing. Joining this past April, he did have a late start relative to others, but still managed to shoot up the leaderboard to his position today, in a limited time. He currently sits at 2600 points gained in under 9 months.

As ZKOTY, Kiwi will enjoy the benefits:

Well I respect the decision, but I feel I deserved it. Honest opinion.

it was a very long decision-process of who we were going to pick. There were many factors to each of the nominees(Dil, Kiwi, Apoc) , such as point count, time frames to get the achievements, etc.

But, still. Congratulations, Kiwi. You did amazing this year.

I thought the idea behind ZKOTM was to be spread across a month. Why does that not apply to ZKOTY. That's what baffles me, time frames to achievements?

I don't get it. Did time from getting achievements trump everything?

There were a lot of factors Dil, and you got a solid second place.
