Why I have such a shitty connection is beyond me. there's nothing save for a roof over my internething (I'm so fucking done learning internet shit, I could care less if it's a router or modem or WHATEVER THE FUCK I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME AND IT'S DRIVING ME BATSHIT INSANE, GODDAMNIT, WHAT THE FUCK IS IT CALLED). The thing that isn't a router or modem, but connects to routers and modems. The thing that gets stuck in a USB port and connects to the modem. Internet thing. Jesus Christ, I'm at peak exasperation already.

If someone could tell me what that thing's called, it would be awesome.

EDIT: USB Adapter. Holy fucking shit. Why Wikipedia feels USB Adapter ISN'T related to modems is beyond me. I might just have to add that in to the list of related shit somehow, and maybe while I'm at it take out all the garbage on that page.

Strange... I thought it would do better.... can't be the PC, but be the connection itself.

My internet bill is covered in my monthly rent, among many other things, so I would hardly call it free. And I live very close to a University, although I was unaware that it links back to their ISP; thanks for pointing that out. I'm going to ask the landlord tomorrow... better not be stealing it
