MW3 getting terrible MetaCritic Reviews

MW3 is getting horrible metacritic USER reviews. Note that these are reviews by normal members of Metacritic, and not the actual Metalcritic score which is an average of all major media reviews (IGN, Game Informer, Destructoid ect.)

The scores across all 3 consoles are around 2.1 (out of 10.) A dev at sledgehammer games has tweeted "I don't usually do this but, if u like MW3 go 2 Metacritic.com & help our user score," writes Schofield. "It's suspiciously low. Be honest but help if u agree."

I generally care more about reviews from professional critics than from ordinary people. Ordinary people on Rotten Tomatoes thought "Book of Eli" was a good movie. Critics did not (and neither did I).

And I'm not surprised it has such a low score. Who'd have thought fanboys might be petty? I have a feeling that there are quite a few scores from people who hate CoD in general, but it also seems like regular CoD players are just being whiny bitches. What I mean is, if a game has some good elements in it, and you're able to have some fun in it, you don't give it a zero just because you didn't like it overall. 0 shouldn't even be a score, it should stop at 1.

I'm curious if it's going to stay this way. Now I definitely think I'll rent instead of buy it.

ooooor one can research the game themselves by looking at demos and clips/showings. I'm not everyone, so while I will watch reviews I almost never let them weigh in on my final decision

I have the game and I can say that the multiplayer is fun, at least for me. It does not deserve that low of a score, maybe a 7 at the least. There is much more options and variety in the multiplayer compared to black ops or MW2. Black Ops was a horrible game, compared to it, MW3 is like a 10 out of 10.

MW3 Is the next game buying. right after i get paid. hopefully that will be i a few days. also, ill have enough money to buy a new tv in like a maybe a week so i will have HD vids soon that means!

Not saying MW3 is a masterpiece but 2/10? What the fuck would they rate QWOP?

mw3 is a brilliant game and i know for a fact that most of you are going to hate me for saying this i am having more fun than i did with bf3 mw3 campaign is fun, multiplayer is fun and spec ops is fun plus the new infection mode is perfect for UX zombie nights

I dislike CoD, but it's sort of silly how low the score is, especially since the majority of those reviews were either posted hours before the game came out or hours after it did. Obviously a large group of people who hate CoD simply coordinated their efforts against MW3.

i like mw3, so these guys can go fuck themselves. and yes i understand that over half of the community dislike CoD now, but come on to fuck no game deserves as low a score as that. The campaign is brilliant , the multiplayer is good so wtf?
