What are the rules for hosting?

So I went through the FAQ and I missed the game last night and I wanted to know what the rules on hosting a game are? Can anyone host? Any game? Does anything have to be done before you can host? Please tell me cause I have some really fun games on halo reach and black ops.

Anyways You May want To schedule Your Game in advance seeing as how today is pretty last minute.
