Safest Place to Go In LC?

Because, you know how many people will be heading to the harbors and airports!?! Alot let's just leave it at that. How I see it is if we survive long enough within the city eventually no one will be left except for us infection spreads quick with large enclosed populace ,a.k.a. all of LC. Now, eventually those dudes out in the ocean that killed all their friends to get a boat will have to come get supplies. Thanks to me and my merry men of raiders there won't be much left and we'll probably end up killing the sea dudes for ammunition and supplies ourselves.

Anyway we all imagine what we would do if a zombie infection were to truly happen. You would waist such an awesome experience of fighting the undead horde just to survive? F that man. Like how lonely will it be out in the ocean on a boat for the rest of your life waiting for a rescue that won't come. I'd much rather have fun with it.

i might try hiding in the museum thick metal doors have vending machine for food make armer out of the dino bone and if i run out of ammo i would grab a battle axe and two short swords fight till i die like a warrior or a dum shit lol

saint ronan, you are right. there would be lots of people at airports and harbors, but also imagine all the people at the hospital?

ok, i'd go up to Playboy X's "penthouse" thing, destroy the elevator and/or stairs leading up to the "penthouse," and live up there, there's a pretty small chance the zombies will get on the fire escape, plus....theres a hot tub

@ saint ronan, imagine the numbers of people at a hospital, because not everyone knows that a zombie infection isn't cured. only destroyed. but yeah you can out an X on the wambulance. and 2 that armored car, honestly how many of those do you see drving around and even if you did see one, wouldn't someone else have the same thought when they see it BEFORE you??? and gas, you can't putt around in that thing on its small tank of gas and if you do think its safe when you stop your wrong, (see dawn of dead escape scene when they tried to flip their escape busses)

and also NEVER ever rely on the food they have in grocery stores in the begining. maybe hit up a highway store or something but those things would be piled in like a can of tuna. always rely on what you know you have, the shit at home. rip metal pipes out your walls at home and weld em on your excursion (me) weld your trunk closed put pipes around the windows and have em barred incase of a break. seal the fucking sun roof up. all I am saying is only rely on what you have at hand.

I have to say the safest place I would go in LC would be the cargo ship you come from in single player that I think is called the Platypus. I have used this ship many times for other modes to have a well defended base. If you manage to get a bunch a survivors with you, it's possible to make small trips across the street.The ship is best defended with snipers on the cabin level and many of the boxes and crates on the deck can be used for defenses. The snipers have an O.K. view of the street and can cover the search parties. The only way on the ship is a staircase that reaches from the ship to the dock and could probably be pulled on board to stay safe. There is a kitchen on the main level and some sleeping quarters above. Also some life boats can be used for a last resort. The cargo hold is a great place to store supplies and might already have stuff that might make use. The whole dockside is lined with warehouses that could be scavenged. If the power still works or you have some generators you could use the cranes to lift cars and other essential things into the cargo hold. The cargo hold has a lot of room so you can store a huge amount of supplies there. The back of the ship could be cleared and ,if you have a good pilot, you can land a helicopter so you have something to scout or find other non-infected people with.

Other than that, I would start a convoy like the one mentioned a while ago. Buses for survivors, hummers and motor bikes for scouts, and armored trucks and ambulances for supplies like in Resident Evil Extinction.

Honestly having the Platypus AND a convoy would keep you alive for a while...

Pick a roof top, make a garden, barricade/destroy stairs, find alternate route up and down, use any blunt heavy objects as weapons but, wait a while before scavenging for food beyond the complex I am on. (wait for the red necks and the psychos to die and kill some zombies)

Other wise, go nuts and pick up those floating RPGs with orange glows around them.

the platypus actually sounds good but like in one of our scenarios it is already filled with infected so you will loose many clearing it out. and you will have to fight off the horde as cleaning it out would atract the horde

since it will attract the horde (this may be a stupid idea) you will have to pull up the little draw bridge there, and then go clear the ship, again, probably stupid idea, but yeah, just put the draw bridge up and have a guy wating in an escape boat on the side of the Platypus

Well i just joined and have never played a zombie match yet so I wouldn't have known there would be a horde waiting... Just saying it would be safe if no zombies started there...

ok so HI Jedi welcome to the forums but we are not comparing scenarios but what would happen if LC was an actual city and it was you.
