New computer

I'm getting a new gaming computer and i was wondering if anybody has any recommendations. What is the best one i can get for 600-700$

You can't get a good one unless you build it yourself. Package PC's are overpriced as fuck.

I would suggest staying away from anything Alien Ware. Their netbook is the only thing that I see worth buying... kinda. I have an i5 laptop with 6 gbs of RAM and 512 mb dedicated to video and it runs most games just fine.

You don't need to be able to run crysis on highest settings in order to play PC games.

This is a good point.

I was able to modify our computer with about $350 into a beast.

(It runs ArmA II and Fallout, so I'm good with that.)

Finland's right, just build one of your own or upgrade a regular computer. I don't even have a computer, I have a laptop and its pretty bad with games although it ran WoW smoothly but when I tried Champions Online, it was laggy as ballz and I uninstalled it after the first 2 hours or so.
