Japan Wins the FIFA 2011 Women's World Cup

Got to say.. been following the whole thing, and they played amazing. Considering they had the skill to takedown the reigning 2 time world champs Germany, when it was hosted in Germany.... they definately deserved that win. Not to mention it is a morale booster after all the chaos in Japan this year so far.

I think how they won was complete BS tho. America scores the first goal, then they think they can just play keep away until the end of the game. But that goes awry and Japan scores. Then it goes into extra time and America scores again. They try keep away AGAIN and it fails AGAIN, Japan scores...AGAIN. So it goes into sudden death after those 30 minutes are over. Sudden death is just stupid mistakes on the goalie's part and America loses :/

Japan is small and neutral.

We should be more like Germany, ambitious, risk-taking and misunderstood.

Actually I can't bring myself to enjoy soccer.

Critics were actually saying the secret to Japans success was 2 things:

1. The were playing much more aggressive, especially on Germany. Caught a lot of teams off guard.

2. Maintained ball majority possession in which would ultimately frusterate and break opponent morale.
