Quick PC Gaming question

Usually if my Xbox live gold sub runs out i have the steam app on my laptop, which holds a few decent games, one of which is what i'm about to ask: Deus Ex Invisible war
Has anyone encountered a problem where the game CTD (Crashes to Desktop) after the Publisher's, Developer's and game's logo show up as normal, then the initial loading screen appears then the blasted thing goes CTD on me.
Any help on this? BTW my copy of Deus Ex Invisible War has the latest patch installed.

Pfft, obviously that's the game, it's called Invisible War for a reason. You have to use your keen computer gamer instinct to really experience it beyond just your eyes.

Have you played the first Deus Ex? If so, play that first. Much better than Invisible War. Anyways..

Yeah i played through the first Deus Ex and found JC's lack of emotion hilarious.
