Update problems

For some reason the update that came out today is not downloading for me. It gets to a certain point then just stops, so I doubt I will be online for who knows how long. I will still be active on the site but I hope I can get online sooner rather than later.

Sorry to hear about that. Have you tried turnin your Xbox off?

What was the update for again?

I don't know what the update is for. I left the download for a while and I came back and it still hadn't even got that far, then it says that I cant download the update and for me to test my connection, I did that and when it gets to the last segment of internet - xbox live the update pops up asking for me to download it. I turned off my xbox before and tried again and nothing changed.

Ok I gave it one last go and the download has reached 2/3rds of the way. I think there is still and hour or 2 hours left of time waiting but it looks like I wont be waiting till next month to get back on live.

Anybody know what it was for?

Yeah I had a problem simular to this: after eventually getting to about 99%, it just stopped. Luckily, after 5 or so minutes of waiting (thought it froze), it finally went through. Idk if it is the same problem though.


And no I have no idea what the update was for, although you could probably find out on xbox.com.
