I have a question... What happen to the first movie they were going to make? Didn't it loose funding?

They couldn't get a company to produce, or rather, couldn't decide on which one. Alot of people don't want to pick up the script, because if you screw up a movie adaptation of Halo, it's financial suicide for your company.
