Gears 3 delayed...

Apparently they delayed it to make more money, I guess Spring isn't the new Fall...

Good thing in my opinion. The last sentence explains quite well why. Even though I probably wont even buy it, it's nice to see that games are still delayed to give them some extra polish... even if the real reason was to make it sell better on the holidays.

Though April woul've been a smarter release date in my opinion. All companies are pushing their releases to Fall so that they make the holidays. But in my opinion it would be much smarter to release during the summer, when hardly no one else is releasing and people are bored during their summer holidays.

Yeah when they announced the game a year before it's release I thought to myself, "Shit I have to wait a full year before Gears....at least they'll have plenty of time to make it so I know it'll be good".

But seriously this games gonna be sick, now with 6 extra months Gears of War 3 better be perfect.

Also now I know I'll have money to get MvC3 & Portal 2

A year is nowhere near enough to make a game these days. They just announced it in really early stage of development.

Oh definitely but the game had already been in development before the announcement. Also did you see all the beast mode videos? You could tell the game wasn't in the early stages so a year seemed like enough to me (Assuming the 1st stages of the campaign were pretty much done).
