i honestly think there is no way we are going to get a spaceship that has powerful enough engines or even enough fuel to get to Gliese581g because its fucking trillions of miles away. as exciting as this find is, there has to be closer habitable planets that we just haven't found yet.

All you need is fuel for take-off and landing. There's no resistance in space, so once you reach full speed you can just turn the engines off...

i meant enough fuel to get to the highest possible speed to get there quicker.

I think that if we do start an "expedition", it would be years due to the distance. Also, if you guys haven't known, if you take a digital picture from Gliese and you send it back to Earth, it would take approximatley 200 years.
