UX Forza 3 Race - Event #7 (10/30/10) - [completed]

This will be Event #7. I need minimum 5-8 people to attend, otherwise it will be canceled due to a lack of players.

The Event will be on: Saturday, 8:00pm EST.

Specific in-game rules will be explained in lobby. For an idea of what to expect, see the topic under rules and regulations. Events consist of 3 races each and have a winner for each one. The winners (in addition to in-game credits) will receive a prize credits (see topic under "rules and regulations" for more info). Restrictions in each race can be limited by year, make, model, country of origin, region of origin, class, body-style, production/track, horsepower, or specific Performance Index (PI). After each race, the results will be posted below for all races.

Restrictions for each event will be announced below. Most events are limited to STOCK vehicles only; however, a few races will allow upgrades (this is to take out any advantage due to good tuning). The tracks and corresponding lap numbers are also listed.

The car restrictions are listed in order of occurrence (so we use the top of the list first), but the tracks are NOT. So don't go tuning your car for a certain track, because tracks are done in random order from the list.

***If you don't own a certain stock vehicle, don't worry, ALL stock vehicles are provided in game for multiplayer races.

Restrictions for this event are as follows:

1. Poor Mans Race - Car cost limited to no more than 20,000 CR. Note that there is no way for me to manually restrict the settings so everyone can't use better cars; therefore, i'm using the honor system. However, if I think a car is suspicious, remember that I can always write down the model and PI, and upgrade it myself to check later. If I find anyone cheating on this event, they will be banned from UX Forza Racing (upgrades allowed)

2. Bugatti Veyron Timed Race - everyone must use a stock Veyron. It will be a 10 minute race; whoever is in 1st place when the timer runs out, wins. There is no lap restriction (stock only)

3. Mazda vs. Toyota - Models limited to the 1997 Mazda RX-7 and the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ (stock only)

**Note: I'm doing this so there is no preparing for this one. This will NOT become a regular thing, I usually announce the tracks. I personally will also decide at the last second as well, so don't think i'm getting an advantage. Going into this one blind guys!!

Question.
What if someone buys a S Class car in the auction host for 20k or less?
Or are you basing the cost of a car bought normally?

Car cost is based on the cost if you bought it in-game through career. Let's say the Jaguar XJ220 for example. It doesn't matter if you find one on the auction house for 1,000 CR, the cars value and price is 190,000 CR, meaning you are already over the limit (by a lot).

You can however buy a car for 5,000 CR, and put 15,000 CR in upgrades in it, or just buy a car that is 20,000 CR and leave it stock. Idc, but I am really picky about the price.

A car that has a value (car and part upgrades combined) of 20,001 CR is illegal (idk if it's even possible, but you get the idea).

OP updated. Remember, the date can change if the vote results of the "what time works best for you" thread changes. Otherwise, the time posted above will stick. You are all in control of the time, so hopefully a lot of people can make it (I don't want to cancel the event and move it more weeks out).

**IMPORTANT: Just realized this yesterday. When upgrading your car for the 20,000 CR or less event, be aware of PART DISCOUNTS.

Not only must you use the original price of the car (if you were buying it through the game), but you must use the original part values.

If there is a part discount (you get part discounts for winning races with that car brand), the discount % will appear under the price. A good check of this is the price itself. Aside from a couple exeptions, ALL PART PRICES ARE EVEN NICE NUMBERS. A general rule is also that the last 2 digits are "00".

So in short, you must add that percentage back.

For example, a part costs 3,060 CR with a 10% discount. The actual price is 3,400 CR.

This can be confusing, so if you need help on a number, let me know.
