Re: Endemic (An Interactive Comic)
I suppose I've never really put forth a good and proper explanation for the sudden halt in Endemic and Endemic-related activities. I should do that, considered it's been a good maybe three months since I've posted or looked at the topic. I just read back through and it's surprising how much the quality improved over time, and even more surprising how much better it could get.
I liked making this whole thing, especially the huge initial response and the fact that it just turned into an over-the-summer kind of thing. It was a ton of fun to do, and I ended up weaving a story into it that can't go unfinished. I had and still have a lot of possible directions for the whole plot planned out, but in the end, what happens lies with you guys; your suggestions guide the comic in more ways than you can see sometimes, as some suggestions I seem to have looked over have given me what I think are great ideas for future plot events.
That said, GMod and the like quickly grew cumbersome and time consuming; when the school year begun, I just got too tired to keep up with the comic, and the lack of updates simply carried over; the main reason I've yet to begin again is because I don't want to start what I can't finish. I love interactives and forum games, and have more on the way - Meaningless Battle 3 will be in effect soon, and with MSPC reaching its end, expect something called Sylvetican Strife, a forum "game" that concerns roleplaying and collaborative storytelling with a competitive edge. With all of this stuff on the horizon, all I can really say about Endemic is that it'll start again when I have time; searching for camera angles, posing ragdolls and editing these images is much more draining than writing and drawing stick figures, which is why this isn't something I can keep up with like everything else.
That said, I'd hate to leave you guys hanging. Expect a non-canonical Endemic Christmas Special in the coming weeks.
Hopefully this isn't the end; I just want everyone to know what's up.

Re: Endemic (An Interactive Comic)
MASTEROFKILLS and EAUSTINN take a moment to get their bearings as the towering beast approaches!

But they take a moment too long, overwhelmed by the FORCES OF SUGGESTION!
The undead creature lunges toward MASTEROFKILLS at blinding speed, with sharp claws capable of killing him in a single hit!

MASTEROFKILLS dies.
Of suspense, when he finds that the creature was not lunging at him, but at this adorable PUPPY.

The four of you become BEST FRIENDS FOREVER.
Together, you resolve to take on the world.

Together.
You will make it through this.
It's been a hard day.
But for some reason, you feel just a little bit happier.

THE END

Re: Endemic (An Interactive Comic)

It's another busy day in the UndeadXBox Offices. From forum games to community games, to the exemplary Zombie Nights and the elusive ZRP, this is where all like events call home. These offices house the brains that decide every month's ZKOTM, an honor among the entire community. UndeadXBox Offices also has a housing district and plenty of on-site space that makes for more than enough wacky happenings here and there.
On the topic of forum games, many of the community's most creative minds often weave wonderful adventures and create games for others to enjoy.
You are not one of these people, and are probably at the moment to be considered more lazy than creative.
((PLEASE CLICK FOR FULL VIEW))

Your name is EAGLENDIA.
You are known for such portfolios as NOT UPDATING ENDEMIC.
Right now, you really don't want to UPDATE ENDEMIC.
You would much rather dick around in the office for a little while. Let's do that.
What will you do?
