Beat Hazard

Beat Hazard is basically a combination of Asteroids, Audiosurf and that epic sidescrolling spaceship game which name I can't remember no matter how hard I try... You pilot a small spaceship from top-down view, dodging and shooting asteroids, just like in Asteroids. You also dodge and shoot smaller space ships and face bigger bosses like in that cool sidescrolling game. And you choose an audio file and it will generate a level for you and play on the background, just like Audiosurf. And the audio file also affects the power of your ammunition etc.
It's a pretty old game, I've known it for some time already but I played it today for the first time. I didn't expect it to be this good! I already uploaded a video about it too, and am rendering another one at the moment...

I keep meaning to buy this. I love it, plus it goes well with loud music.

Also I don't usually find Pendulol very good at all, but their music is perfect for this game. I tried some dubstep too, but it's basically anal rape because of all the wobbles and so on...

What kind of music did you play with it? It's not that great for anything metal/rock, but most electronic songs work great...

I dunno, I find it to be really fun and I play along to death metal.
