New Futurama

Expect spoilers from the show week by week.

I'm undecided on the new Futurama so far.

First or second episode had a CSI Miami joke, which wasn't too bad...

but the new episode was like south park. The social commentary shit needs to stop. Mom's "eyePhone", Jared from subway, the cliffhanger ending...too reminiscent of South Park. At the same time the episode was pretty hilarious and the first eight minutes (or so)were totally classic Futurama.

Second episode of Futurama had classic Zapp Branigan, but nothing happened the entire episode it seemed.

Thoughts?

The episode with Zapp was amazingly funny for me. The ending was sad for fry though.

I concur. Saying I disliked it more is an unfair judgement of it.


They never address what happened between Fry and Leela in episode 3. They talk and seem as if they're just friends, so I assume that they broke up after Leela fucked Zapp.

They should probably address that.
