Your right. A GIRL with the most incredible range in all of music breaking down to JOURNEY. That's not hardcore.

Journey? Journey? Does Van Halen ring any bells? Anyway, I don't see why this craps so popular if it all sounds the same. The idea seems a little gay to me. A bunch of long haired queers jumping around screaming. I might try to accept if it sounded anyway unique or different than the rest of these 'hardcore' bands, and electro drum loops don't really help. Doing stuff like that doesn't make them any better than Brokencyde, but it's cool, bro. You can listen to what you want, lol.

They just ruined the song for me. I don't mind other music genres. I'm into classic rock and a lot of older stuff, but when it comes to the genres I dislike (Rap, Screamo and stuff), there's always a couple of songs I don't mind. I haven't found any screamo ones I like though.

Oh well. UP THE IRONS FROM CANADA.

Yes, fight for me! I am the bringer of destruction and doom, and my myspace page alone can cause an entire site to collapse Twisted Evil

but seriously, i love both types (obviously) i think it's just cause i actually play them though, so it's more easy to appreciate.

And yes, up the fucking Irons from the U.S.A.

[sarcasm]Yea this shit right here is mad drum loopy and gay, yo.[/sarcasm]

You couldn't pick up on ridiculous technicality of this stuff if you had a music professor sitting next to you. If all these bands sound the same than your a close minded idiot.

Yea people who ACTUALLY play guitar, like me need to pursue things that are harder to play and more interesting, not a music genre that died out with leopard head bands and big hair.

A lot of those bands are pretty good, I just don't really see them as being death metal. I'm sorry that I'm so narrow minded, but I just haven't really listened to this kind of music. It doesn't really seem that interesting. It just seems like it all has the same structure:

Blast beat
Growl
Blast beat
Breakdown
Growl
Blast beat

Not always in that order.

To be honest Ape, i play some of Crue and stuff like that too. Granted, on most nights you'll find me practicing TBDM or working on Selkies: The Endless Obsession, but every now and then it's nice to play something simple like the Nuge. If anything, i enjoy playing the real heavy stuff even more after a small hiatus.
