3rd Infantry Division, 4th Brigade Combat Team "Vanguard"

This is crazy! Units from BCT "Sledgehammer" are falling back North to our secondary lines of defense on the Plumbers Skyway. BCT "Raider" got hit pretty hard, those things started swimming across the canal! Took a couple of our boys out. In the meantime SSgt. Samuel ordered us into the M113s. Said that we're falling back as well. Whatever these things are, they don't feel anything. Ripping them to shreds seems to work but headshots are the way to go. 703rd was pulled to help evacuate the surrounding area. The plan is that we'll hold the Plumbers Skyway for as long as possible. Get as many people out as possible. With air support from the 3rd Aviation Regiment, we should be able to. Still, this is intense fighting. They just sprint at you. You can shoot them like crazy but until they've had enough, they just keep sprinting. Once they get up to you, they tackle you and claw you to death. Terrible way to die. Although you can turn the tables on them sort of because of it. Pvt. Hannon just flipped one and made him land on his ass! Then he shot him up a bit with his M4. Cocky bastard.
