Dead Earth

As the squad traveled to their objective they got more acquantied, talking about recent news, rabies in china, rabies in New York, roits in New York. And even more recently as of yesterday, army dispatched to kill outbreak in New York.

Thats were they were headed, they were in the reserve army, and were called to fight the outbreak.

The objective was 2 miles to go they were to hold the ones trying to get out of the city. Most people were out, the ones left.

The men set in the truck. Karl the leader of the other four. Was thinking if it all went to shit how he was going to save himself. He had been over in the Middle East and shot at by towelheads.

3 minutes later...

After hearing the colonel saying a bunch of orders they took position. They crawled in the trench that was damp and cold on the foggy day. They could hear artillery hitting New York skyscrapers. The had been positioned on the coast and a steep hill so they had to go right to them. The trench was dug across the road with barb wire in front of it.

They set for a few minutes the could hear whispers at first and then the radio. Then another squad spotted something. It had a broken leg and was still trying to run at the them. Dry blood was on its shirt and it screamed at them. It took a moment for the men to realize what to do. Then every man on the line full autoed the approaching figure. It laid on the ground and a man in the squad named "Jazz" shouted. " Get some motherfucker!"

Then there were two, then three, then four, the men had little trouble killing these groups.
It was when they started coming twenty at a time. They got frantic and begin missing alot of shots. Dylan Lotz begin having trounle realoding, and they got closer and closer.

Soon the Infected begin being caught in the wire. They just continued grabbing for them. " Jazz" lifted his light machine gun to there heads and turned them to swiss cheese. Then part of the wire fell. Some started running the colonel started yelling " Hold them , Hold them! " Some infected grabbed the other squad members and piled on top of them they tore and bite their flesh.

Ken lokked at the road he could barely sit so many of them were running towards the line. " Retreat!" He yelled. Dylan did not here him and was trying to reload his weapon. Ken ran to him and started getting him aware they were leaving. The others were already in the moving truck going down the road. Ken and Dylan were in full sprint to catch it. Dylan grabbed hold of David and Daniels hands and they pulled him up. Ken's legs were burning and he reached for Daniel's hands and jumped aboard the truck.

The squad took it all in and realized they were the only ones that made it. When the driver's radio buzzed to life.

Oh what Ken is Karl my bad.

ok, because it'd be a really weird start of a book if the first page said "As the squad traveled to their objective..." i'd be like, "what squad? what objective?" and...stuff, lol

CHAPTER 2Karls turned on the truck radio. " Zelda squad to command we have been overran at roadblock 4 i repeat we have been overran." " Yes... Yes sir. Karl responded. He turned too the soilders left after the attack. Pvt. Lotz , Pvt. Waltalsky , and Pvt. Jones "Jazz". He almost started to speak as he saw Pvt. Johnson out of the corner of his eyes. He almost forgot the kid.

" Okay guys we have been ordered too meet up with another group up the road. Then they will tell us what to do next." Karl said loudly of the roaring truck. "Hey what about those guys back at the roadblock? Daniel asked.

30 minutes later. They pull up to a abonded truck stop. 1 humvee and 2 army trucks like they are in sat at the stop. The men looked bad blood on some of there faces. As we pulled up the commanding officer walked towards the truck. " Anybody on this truck been bitten?" he said quickly. " No sir" Karl responded after looking at the men quickly.

Two men walked out of the stop. Karl had left to go talk too the commanding officer of the other group. They looked to have around 30 men. Plus a 50.cal mounted on the humvee hood. Karl climbed back into the truck "alright guys were headed to Boston".

CHAPTER3

Boston looked liked people were having business as usual. public transportation and people walking around normally and all that stuff. Except all the miltiary helicopters, humvees, and trucks, with a few tanks. " Hey you stupid fucks get the hell oughtta here!" Dylan yelled waving his arms at several groups of civilians.

3 Hours Later

Zelda squad set in 2 story spot. In a office building. They spotted the first zombies coming out of the woods. First there were just about twenty or so which was easy to kill at first then about a hour or later they were almost shoulder to shoulder walking over the mounds of there dead brothers. The tank shells ripping apart there flesh and sending limbs flying.

They got closer to breaching there line by the minute. Zelda looked down on the ones in on the ground screaming. They saw them rip a mans intestines out then start eating parts of what looked like kidneys. " Fuck this shit!" Dylan said running down the stairs. David and Daniel followed. Karl looked in disbelief as they devoured the armys front line. Then a loud explosion shook the building and turned the zombies in the field into walking flamepeople. Until the fire slowly ate away at them.

"Lets go Jazz" Karl said tapping his shoulder. Jazz emptied a few more bullets into a zombie that looked like some mayor of new york that ran for president. They found the other three outside stealing a humvee. "What they Hell are you doing!" Karl yelled. " Fuck the army!" Dylan yelled. "Im out too save myself sargent!" Karl punched quickly in the face and he crumpled to the ground. He then kicked him in the side. He let out a short grunt.

"Alright get in the humvee" Karl said climbing into the drivers set. David quickly ran to the passenger side door. Dylan slowly crawled inside the back with Daniel . And "Jazz" quickly jumped on the 50. cal. Quickly turned it around blasting a zombie climbing on the back of the humvee.

They drove off watching boston ingulf in flames.
