Hope We Live It Out PT. 1

"In today"s news, riots have begun all over the city as the news of a new infectious disease spreading throughout the mainland has been reported. The government, in fear of the virus spreading to other countries and cities, has dispatched armed forces to quarantine New York, all major bridges, highways and subways have been closed off. God bless those stuck trying to flee out of such chaos unfolding on this once live able city. This is Kent Brodmen, thank you for joining us tonight".

That was the last telegram I have gotten in roughly......... 2 weeks. It's quiet now...bodies litter the streets, those of women, businessmen and children who once had a future but was cut short by bullets and the army. Every now and then I see a patrol of about 10 soldiers pass by, armed with M-16's that could rip apart one of those "zombies" in about 5 seconds. I dare not to try to show myself to them, to show them that I am probably one of the very few last human beings in this chaotic city because the government has ordered them to "shoot on sight". That means anything that moves, either moans with madness or breaths with hope, is to be "executed" and thrown in the rivers that surround New York.

As I sit here in my disputed barricade I wonder how the fuck this came to be . That children are now being murdered outside my window, that humanity no longer will exist in good old New York City, it will just be a dried out, unwanted novelty and the rest of the world will just fuckin watch.


So what do you think, should I continue? Oh and the fact that this story takes place in New York has nothing to do with New York, anyone that lives there, its just the setting of the story.
