Re: 1000 Post Club!
1,000th post. Boo-yah.
Anyway, hope I still enjoy this community as much as I do now 1,000 more posts later. I'm very glad I joined, despite a crippling laziness addiction that prevents me from registering to most sites. And to think, I'd have missed out on all this fun had I not been absent minded-ly browsing GTA videos on YouTube. I can't even remember what I was watching that lead me to the well known Wheelchair Accessible video. I had been meaning to get a capture card for a long time before this, and joining this community was just the encouragement I needed to finally get one and learn to use it. Now, I'm very close to finally making a fully acted Halo machinima, something I've wanted to do for so long, literally years. It was probably "Saving Private Cyan", a Halo 2 machinima, that made me want to do it, and from there, "The Codex". So, if you're into machinima, I'd recommend, checking those out, as they're really cool.
I would probably have just stopped playing 360 if I hadn't joined Undead Xbox. I was pretty bored of it, and nobody talked much on LIVE, so friends there were pretty much restricted to real life friends, who have since been inactive for a long time. I thought that it was over, and I'd never have as much fun as I used to with LIVE, more specifically, zombies. Reach's living dead playlist just doesn't even compare to Halo 2 zombies. I still have fond memories of the human team driving warthogs up the lift, and parking them in one of the rooms and using the turrets to keep the zombies out for a long time.
I still remember hesitantly posting my introduction, figuring this community may be long dead. I was thrilled to know it was still going, and I'd get to attend one of the zombie matches. I'm pretty sure the first game I ever played was Evac on Algonquin, hosted by eaustinn36. The human team I was on was too nervous to just play normally, so we all ended up hiding out on that overpass thing near that big parking complex (the one right beside the helicopter dock). I can't remember if we won or not, but it was a lot of fun. Since then I've done my best to attend every zombie night I could, and I'm looking forward to more!
