WHATS YOUR ZOMBIE PLAN

Me and a friend have it figured out.:
Step 1: Climb up to the third floor(the top) of my apartment complex, bringin up all of my food and my .22 rifle. Ralph(mah friend) will hook up and join me, destroying all of the stairs as he goes, bringing with him his 12-gauge and M1911
Step 2: set up a rope ladder so as to be able to climb down when needed(scavenging, building falling apart, etc.)
Step 3: should the occasion arise where we are forced to leave our posistion permanently, we will have a radio system set up to keep in contact with our other friends, so as to try to create a survivor force strong enough to survive. once we have ascertained if any of our other people survived we will attept to head just about a mile down the road to the high school where the doors all open outwards. since zzombies only know how to bang on doors in an inward direction, and since all of the doors at the school are of prison grade steel, the school should provide excellent protection once the building has been cleared. Oh, also the windows are all made with those little steel wires that run all through them, so that will help against zombie invasions.
Step 4: Should all of the above work, we will just hang around in the school, occasionally making sorties down to the kitchen for food, and if we have to leave then we will just do so and try to live. Otherwise, I figure that all of us will resort back to a pre-stone age psychoticness and will just end up killing each other off with the knives and machetes we will have grabbed since our guns will have run out of ammo.

If you are on the move, which is smarter? Sleeping during day, moving during night or sleeping over night, moving in daylight?

I personnally would move on the daylight because it is easier to spot the infected in daylight. Then when the night comes, find a place to hold up. Then take turns. Depending on how many are there, one person guards for 1 to 3 hours, then wakes the next guard. That way everyone gets atleast some sleep and there is always a guard.

Exactly, that's the smart thing to do.

move by day. humans aren't nocturnal, and zombies have the edge over us at night. In the daylight, we are an almost even match.

:shrug: i thought about it, and ive noticed people die more during the night, and by day its easy, so sleep during the day, and by night youll have all the energy and dexterity from sleeping all day, although... the sun does give us nutrients that we need... so im an idiot. haha, i take step 6 back and replace it with sleep during the night and go during day.

move during day and sleep at night besides i have a great holdout spot with beds and food its at playboyxs house and by the way i have no idea how i can get in contact with any of my friends im just a lone wolf... i need a partner willing to risk there lives and get infected for others... i am one of those people and the other day i got some silenced weapons those zombies wont hear whos shooting at em dante.....over.....and.....out

I would seek refuge with the nearest military base. (If they allowed me to take shelter there.)

If not then I'm basically screwed considering the only weapons I have are a BB gun, and an airsoft pistol.

I do have plenty of melee weapons (machete, baseball bat, etc.) that would do the trick but I'm not one for CQC.

Melee weapons are a common misconception. The infected spread through blood, saliva, etc. right? Well if you are using melee weapons then you are going to seeing a lot of infected blood splattering everywhere. Chances are that you will have at least one cut on your body somewhere since you are in an apocalyptic world. Now that blood splattering everywhere from smashing a zombies face in with your baseball bat is now on you and will probably seep into a cut/wound/other opening and now you are infected.

I'm basically going off the Zombie Survival Guide where their body is literally a walking corpse and all the blood has dried. Yes, the melee thing could be problematic in different zombie situations.

Here is my plan me and my brother just made up.

Step 1: It will already be all over the news so I would grab both of my samurai swords I got at a flee market, then barricade all exits except my bedroom window. It is not to big or not to small so eveyone in my apartement can sneak out the window if anything happens.
Step 2: Then I would run acroos the street to get food and supplies and bring them home, and after that I will go to my friends house who also lives across the street from me and I would get his dads .357 magnum and
all the ammo and get his hunting rifle too. There is two hunting rifles so me and my friend can both use them.
Step 3: If I am still alive but we are running out of supplies and food I will get my friend and my brother to go scavenge all the aprtements on my floor(3rd floor) while we are doing that we will exterminate every undead freak that gets in our way.
Step 4: After like 2-4 weeks of surviving we would gather left over food and supplies and get in my dads car and drive to this fishing hut, that is 4 blocks away from my house so I would go there and barricade it up because there is sandbags there for some reason and a speedboat that some guy uses some times.
Step 5:if we made it to the dock we will take the boat and drive down the lake and then meet up some helicopter pilot that is good friends with my dad from elementary school to high school and fly up north(I live in Canada) then suvive there until this is over but if the infection is able to resist in the cold I will just kill my self after I am done eating my twinkie.

Get my dads machete, shotgun
Fill backpack with supplies
Take my GSD Maverick
put on my combat boots
Walk over to my friends house his dad is loaded with guns and ammo
Start killing zombies
If shit hits fan it's my Last Stand

Might want to lose the 12 gauge (I take it's for bird hunting) and the .22. They wont do a whole lot against the hoard. So lose them when you can. Otherwise, at least I know I can get some steak sauce somewhere during the apocalypse.[/quote]

i would get my Dads shitty hunting rifle(wtv its a gun)and what ever other stuff i could find in my garage like gas,shovel,baseball bat,chainsaw on a stick(yes i actually have a chainsaw on a stick i am not joking lol)Get my black russian hat,my jacket and work jeans that are full of pockets.last but not least my lucky necklase and head out 2 go get all my friends and go to out school.Reason being all the windows/doors on the bottom floor are bared with steel so unless the zeds can climb up 2 stories where pretty safe,its stalked with food from the caf and has easy roof acess 2 alert 4 aid.that my friends is my plan if zombies attack

Assuming that we are talking about a widespread infection in the immediate area...

- Load all canned goods, the two first aid kits I keep, a water purifier, my families rifle and pistol (Along with ammo) and several blankets and sweaters into one of our SUVs. Also, will bring a tube a few feet long for siphoning gas from abandoned cars caught in the gridlock that inevitably follows an outbreak. I'd skip the gun store/grocery store (They'd be looted) , or carrying any swords that my family has on display. (Those things wouldn't hold out very long in actual combat, especially if they were not regularly sharpened in the correct manner.)

- Leave town, keep on the move. Stick to rule areas as I head north, towards an area where the zombies could freeze. Will loot any abandoned houses/gas stations and scavenge for food.

- If there is no sign of help, or the SUV's battery quits, will head east and try to somehow make it through the Rock Mountains on foot. (If it's summer) May eventually find an area that offers relative safety. (Area, not fortress or house) Try to settle here, look for other survivors.

Step 1: Go to a Hippy's house.
Step 2: Smoke lots of blunts (Airassult would be proud)
Step 3: Get weapons together
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit.
